Today’s Dental aims to provide individuals with a comfortable and relaxing environment where we strive to exceed your expectations through professional results and our friendly team.


Jessica (Office Manager)

Jessica joined Dr. Manji’s team fresh from NAIT in 1992. She has filled many roles over the years including clinical assistant, treatment co-ordinator, receptionist and currently Office Manager. Jessica and her husband Giedrius reside on an acreage near Jessica’s hometown of Alberta Beach. When she is not at work Jessica enjoys caring for her many pets, gardening, fishing, any outdoor activity and the occasional karaoke night.


Sherri (Treatment Coordinator)

Sherri is what we call our pioneers around here. She has been learning and working alongside Dr. N Manji since graduating from NAIT in 1987. All aspects of dentistry excite and inspire her and this is why working in an advanced office has been a great fit all these decades. Providing exceptional care and compassion for patients is our key to success. A sense of humour and constant upbeat outlook keep us all smiling. Sherri , a native Edmontonian, enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They participate in Tae Kwon Do together as a family. Relaxation is also found at yoga, movies and spending time with friends.


Heather (Treatment Coordinator)

Heather joined our team after completing her practicum with Dr. Manji in 2001. Her role on our team is working with Dr. Manji as a Dental Assistant. Heather will ensure that your entire visit from the time you set foot in the door, to the time you leave is a pleasant experience. When Heather is not at work being our social butterfly, she is spending time with friends and caring for her growing family.


Michaela (Sterilization & Infection Control Tech/Assistant)

Michaela is from a small town in Southern Alberta. She moved to Edmonton right after graduating high school where she attended NAIT and graduated from dental assisting. After a year of assisting, she went back to school, this time closer to home at Lethbridge College. She graduated in Central Sterile Processing. After graduating from LC, she headed up north and joined the team at Today’s Dental.

Michaela loves to sing and sometimes can be heard singing throughout the office.


Shannon (Dental Hygienist)

Shannon graduated from the University of Alberta in dental hygiene in 2008, and has been with Today’s Dental since then. She grew up in Spruce Grove and is still living there with her family. She has a daughter and son. Some of her passions are soccer, snowboarding, working out, and of course spending time with friends and her beautiful family.


Katherine (Dental Hygienist)

Katherine is another one of our highly trained Registered Dental Hygienists. She has been part of our team for 13 years. She continually strives to provide comfortable and customized dental hygiene therapy. She also provides the essential tools and education to ensure that her client’s oral health needs are maintained well into their future.

Katherine was born in Edmonton and graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and in the following year with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Specialization in Dental Hygiene. Over the past decade, she has furthered her expertise in dental hygiene through a variety of continuing dental education courses to uphold her exceptional dental hygiene therapy.

Outside work, Katherine loves spending quality time with her husband and two amazing daughters, vacationing, cooking, gardening, jogging, step aerobics, and reading.


Marguerite (Dental Hygenist)

Marguerite was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Canada in 2003. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta and has been practicing with Today’s Dental since 2012. Marguerite is passionate about oral health and strives to educate and empower her clients to achieve their optimal health and well-being. When not providing exceptional care to clients, Marguerite is an avid traveler, enjoys volunteering and likes to stay active outdoors.

Daniella (Dental Hygienist)

Daniella is one of our highly trained Registered Dental Hygienists. She has been a part of the Today’s Dental Team for 14 years. Her professional goal is to provide comfortable preventive health care. In addition, she strives to connect a client’s oral health and their general health with personalized education and instruction. Her collaborative approach with her colleagues fosters a more thorough, smooth dental experience.

Daniella graduated from the University of Alberta in 2000 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and in the following year with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Specialization in Dental Hygiene. She has spent numerous years working as a clinical instructor in the department of Dental Hygiene at the University of Alberta. She also continues to be a lecturer and clinical instructor in the local anesthetic continuing education course at the University of Alberta. She prides herself in continually updating her clinical skills and knowledge in the field of Dental Hygiene by taking numerous continuing dental education courses.

Daniella was born and raised in Edmonton. She treasures her family life with her husband and two wonderful children. She also enjoys running, reading, baking and traveling.


Shelli-Anne (Dental Hygienist)

Shelli is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been a part of the Today’s Dental team since 2005. For the past 19 years, Shelli has worked in the dental field in both British Columbia and Alberta. Her post-secondary education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Sociology prior to graduating from the dental hygiene program at the University of Alberta.

Shelli and her husband have been married for 15 years and currently reside in St. Albert with their 2 children. Away from work Shelli enjoys running, gardening, traveling and spending time with close family and friends.


Kim (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Kim is a Registered Dental Hygienist and in 2015, the most recent addition to the Today’s Dental team. Her post-secondary education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree specializing in Psychology, from the University of Manitoba, in 1998. After several years working with at-risk youth and their families, Kim chose to change careers and graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Alberta in 2008. She is passionate about providing her clients with personalized oral health care and education while supporting a caring relationship at the same time.

Kim was raised in Victoria, BC, then spent six years living in Winnipeg, MB. In 1998, she chose to make Edmonton her home. Away from work, Kim has a passion for spending time with her dogs and her young son, as well as playing soccer, gardening and spending as much time outdoors as possible.


Lisa (Hygiene Treatment Coordinator)

Lisa graduated as a dental assistant in 1989 from SIAST in Regina Saskatchewan. Born and raised in small town Saskatchewan before moving to Edmonton in 1989. Lisa has been with us at Today’s Dental since 2011. Lisa can be found after your hygiene visit to book your next visit and assist you with your insurance submissions. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys relaxing with some golf and yoga and gardening. Lisa has been married to her husband Dave for 20 years and they have 2 daughters, Sarah and Jordi. Now that her children are almost out of the house, perhaps some travel in her future!


Cynthia (Dental Assistant)

Cynthia is one of the newest team members at Today’s Dental joining our team in September 2016.  Cynthia has been a dental assistant for over nine years and is excited to be a part of a group that has a passion for ensuring that each patient that walks in the door receives a warm welcome and a positive experience. Over the last nine years she has also exhibited a passion for orthodontics by achieving her orthodontic module earlier this year. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, going out for coffee with friends and spending time with her husband Michael and their two dogs.
